“I Get The Bag” is a promotional single from Gucci Mane’s upcoming 13th studio album, Mr. Davis, where he teams up with an Offset-less Migos.
Takeoff and Quavo rap about their drug-fueled ways and Gucci brags about his wealth and his women. Gucci Mane and Migos really know how to top themselves on the charts. Earlier this summer, the Atlanta trio’s hit “Slippery” featuring Gucci Mane peaked at No. 29 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart and has since gone platinum.
In September, Gucci’s “I Get The Bag” featuring Migos did their previous collab one better. So far the Metro Boomin and Southside-produced track have risen to No. 22 on the Hot 100, the highest position Guwop has ever reached as the lead artist on a track.
If the two hits sound similar to you, that’s because they essentially are. Turns out, “I Get The Bag” contains an interpolation of “Slippery.”
